FOLLOWING the gale of defection in the House of Representatives, especially as the rank of the opposition PDP depletes by the day, majority leader of the House, Femi Gbajabiamila has raised the alarm, decrying the situation. Gbajabiamila spoke at a media briefing heralding the entrant of Hon Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma into the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, saying the House of Representatives was fast becoming a one party parliament. The House leader said the movement concerned him even though his party was the beneficiary, noting that when lots of people were moving towards one end, it tells the party that would win 2019.

Two members of the opposition PDP, Raphael Nnanna Igbokwe (Ahaizu?Ezinihitte Mbaise federal constituency of Imo state) and Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma (Egor/ Ikpoba Okha federal constituency of Edo state), in a space of one week defected to the ruling APC.
