Dangote reiterates bid to purchase Arsenal

Richest man in Africa Aliko Dangote has renewed his desire to purchase English Premier League side Arsenal when he is done with his current projects.

The 60-year-old is still currently in the process of building an $11 billion oil refinery in Lagos – a project that he says will hold the key to to launching his bid for Arsenal.

The Nigerian billionaire has made no secret to take control of the club he supports, and has previously vowed to buy Stan Kroenke out of his majority shareholding. He made this known while speaking on David Rubenstein Show on Bloomber

Dangote had first declared his intention to buy Arsenal in 2015.

Arsenal is presently owned by American billionaire Stan Kroenke.
