Confident coach Emmanuel Amuneke has led 20 players from the Tanzania league to Blue Mountain, South Africa, to prepare for a decisive AFCON qualifier in Lesotho.
Tanzania tackle Lesotho in Maseru on November 18.
The Taifa Stars arrived Blue Mountain in South Africa with 20 home-based players listed by coach Amuneke for the AFCON tie.
Amuneke said: “Presently we are in South Africa in Blue Mountain precisely, training ahead of the match against Lesotho.
“Twenty home-based players are here with me, while the foreign-based players will join up much later.”
He added: “We decided to camp here in Blue Mountain because of its proximity to Lesotho and shares similar variations like weather.
“We are here so that we can fully concentrate on the task ahead.
“By God’s grace and luck on our side we pray for the three points against Lesotho in their home ground.”
Tanzania are second in their qualifying group behind leaders Uganda and aim to go through to 2019 AFCON for the first time since 1980.
Cape Verde are the other team in this group.
